ABOUT Bianca
I was born in Lisbon, Portugal to creative parents and very early on in life I understood that art was my calling.
I attended World Academy in Lisbon for Art Direction, Set Design & Prop Making; prior to that I took on smaller courses at Ar.co for Graphic Design, and Makeup Artist School for Special Effects Make-up.
During my teen years I also took on apprenticeships at tattoo shops, where it helped me study and practice multiple styles and drawing techniques. My work has evolved a lot throughout the years and I am a proud multidisciplinary and self-taught artist, focusing on sculpture, illustration, jewellery and prop making.
I work mostly in the traditional field, as using my hands to create physical pieces is extremely important to me, with fauna and flora as my base theme. I’ve been told by many that I have great eye for composition, detail and balance, and as a perfectionist that is a top compliment.
Always looking to learn, improve my skills, and most importantly- to share what I make with the world, I now spend my days creating for my small shop “Nymph Crafts”.
I occasionally apply to other studios/ creative field openings as I see fit.
